Strengths: Atchley has decent size, and can fill in at either PF or C. He has a great shooting touch, and has good hands. He rarely fumbles the ball or turns it over once the ball is passed to him. He has an assortment of decent post moves, and can take it out to 3pt range and hit with high accuracy. Good wingspan, and quick off his feet allows him to clog the middle and block some shots.

Weaknesses: Atchley is a bit light to play C full time. At PF he does give a bit up defensively. He is a decent shot blocker, but his man on man defense needs a bit of work. Stronger players are able to push him around. A below average rebounder at the PF/C positions. Atchley is also going to be 24 at the time he enters the draft which will pose a big problem when NBA teams look to draft him. Although he has improved last season, has he reached his full potential? Smart move on his part to remain in college for his senior season.
