Strengths: Claver has great fluidity at the SF position, and has a great understanding of the game. Very athletic, and has NBA 3pt range. Can create problems for defenses because of his size, and length.

Weaknesses: Size is both a virtue and his drawback. Playing SF with slower than average foot speed, smaller SFs are able to get around Claver. Weak side defense Claver does well, but man on man needs improvement. Claver is still young so he has yet to reach his full potential in the strength department. You would think someone his size at the SF position would benefit him in the strength department. For Claver it does not. He often gets pushed away from position. He is also a below average rebounder for his size.
